He just looks so distraught over the snow on his head and shoulders, I couldn't help but capture his misery with my camera. He looks like he's having trouble walking, too. I'm sorry, Billy!

Billy Budd II
This made me laugh as I walked past it a few days ago. This is Billy Budd, whom you've seen before on this blog. I remember this statue from the previous post. If I hadn't seen the movie I'd have no clue about Billy Budd but it is story you wouldn't likely forget if you see the film.

Cool! Billy is my favorite spot on the campus. Our snow is gone. Two weeks was enough.
I guess I can't quite figure the fascination with Billy Budd. I saw the movie when I was in high school many, many, many years ago, but I never thought it was that spectacular. I mean, Herman Melville never even finished the book himself...he died.
