Spring in the Valley

The fields are turning green, the skies are bluer - when it's not raining - and the breezes are getting warmer every day. It's definitely springtime in the valley. This scene is the predominate view along the highway heading out of Milton-Freewater to the south. This road leads to the Interstate, which in turn leads one East to Boise, Idaho, or West to Portland, Oregon.

Beautiful minimalistic view of the lanscape and sky.

I like this picture but I would have cropped a lot of the bottom out so the sky to land ratio was 2/3 to 1/3

Mo, thanks for the tip. I actually prefer photos that way, as well, but as this was snapped hurriedly in the car, going 60 mph, I was limited by the situation. It's definitely not an amazing picture, by any means. But I also refuse to crop, adjust colour, or in any other way alter the photos I post here. What I take is what you see. It's 100% natural Walla Walla Valley. It's just the way I am. :)

Green....I love green. I love driving through Oregon and Washington in the springtime when everything is green. Then summer comes and everything is brown on the eastern side of the states. Ugh!
