A couple of years ago I discovered this little urban "park" just a block or so from Main Street in Walla Walla. I don't know if it has a name, but the flower boxes all have the Baker Boyer Bank emblem on them, so my guess is that's who funded it. This little toad is called "The Thinker" and looked so content to spend his days contemplating the little brick-covered park in front of him. If I were him, I would be, too! More pictures of this park will follow.

That is so cute...
Hi! I have jsut discovered your blog. My daughter lives in Seattle, and I have never been to Walla Walla, but would like to visit! I have browsed through your photos and like what I see, so I'll be back.
Hmmmm...I wonder what he is thinking!
Aw, he's cute! Is he made out of metal or wood? Are there more frogs or other critters in the park? I can't remember if I've been to that park; we'll have to go next time we're in the area.
He's made of metal, and the park isn't really much of anything. It's got a couple of tables with chairs, a couple of benches, and a fountain with some statues around it. The park, in and of itself, isn't any bigger than my living room, and there's no grass. Like I said, it's an urban park. :o) But I'll take you there, because I think it's pretty in spite of its size.
Maybe wondering when the pricess is going to come and give him the kiss that turns him into a prince. Or maybe thinking perhaps not such a good idea when i take a look around at what the humans are doing.
