Skywatch Friday

A storm was hovering over the Blue Mountains on Tuesday evening, and as the sun went down and the clouds moved closer to the western horizon, the last rays of evening sunlight lit the sky with beautiful shades of purple, blue, and pink. (It almost matches the house there on the corner!) I wish my camera could capture exactly how amazing this sky really was. Imagine it 10x as beautiful, and you'll have it almost there!

I know I'm way late on this. Just browsing your blog :) I LOVE this picture. That is so cool how the pink in the clouds match that house lol. I bet it was even more brilliant in person. Great shot.

Bobbie - I tried to leave you a comment on your blog, but the word verification wasn't working right and I couldn't find the field to type it in! Alas, I could not comment on your lovely poem. :( Thanks for stopping by my blog!
