Hope in the Gloom

It was a rainy morning yesterday when I took this shot. It's on a corner just behind Providence St. Mary's Medical Center on Poplar Street in Walla Walla. It's a beautiful church, and one I've only seen a couple of times (it's on a back road that isn't near anything I usually visit). It's the Berean Baptist Church, and I'd love to see the inside!

I think there was a master plan for churches built in that era - Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, etc. They all look pretty much the same.

Hey Becky, that is the prettiest little church! I think I like it so much because it is similar to the one we were part of in SF for many years, just a little thing on a street corner, like this. Maybe Jacob is right about the architectural plans of that era. I know they sold house plans that way during that time.
Hope the skies are brightening up out your way. We are looking at a nice weekend here by the Sound. Happy Friday!

You know, the rain gives this one an extra something! I know exactly where Poplar St. is but can't remember this lovely little church!
