These beautiful stormclouds were looming over the mountains yesterday afternoon. I had high hopes for a lovely thunderstorm (I love warm-weather storms!), but alas, the clear skies over the valley held strong, and nothing exciting happened. It was a beautiful evening, with a lovely spring breeze all night long, but my wishful thinking was only that...no storms for us last night! Perhaps soon...

Thunderheads
These beautiful stormclouds were looming over the mountains yesterday afternoon. I had high hopes for a lovely thunderstorm (I love warm-weather storms!), but alas, the clear skies over the valley held strong, and nothing exciting happened. It was a beautiful evening, with a lovely spring breeze all night long, but my wishful thinking was only that...no storms for us last night! Perhaps soon...

If that was Ocala, you'd have received a heck of a storm...we've had skies just like that every afternoon for a week, and every one has resulted in a storm and lots of rain, but last night was the corker - it came down in buckets for at least 45-60 minutes...so much so fast, the garage floor got water through a shut and sealed side door!
We needed rain a couple of weeks ago but this is ridiculous!
What I've found is all good storms come to those who wait! :-)
I love those big puffy clouds. They look like you could jump on them. MB
