The newest blooms are in full swing around the valley. This is an iris a coworker brought in for my office earlier this week. The delicate colours are perfect for the fragile petals. The most common colour around here is a deep purple - a royal velvet purple. The second most common is bright yellow. This appears to be a lovely combination of the two. And it still has some dewdrops on it, too!
