Perseverance

Yes, the snow hit the valley this weekend. We are forecast to have eight inches by tomorrow morning, and I believe it might just happen. I love the way the summer's last flowers look covered in snow. Their colours look even more vivid this way. This particular flower is determined to survive as long as possible on the Walla Walla U. campus this winter.

I cannot believe the snow has come. Summer went by so fast.

beautiful shot.

I love getting things like this--a bit of surprise color, when all else is green, maybe, or, as in this case, white. Terrific catch.

I feel like we got robbed of a good long summer, with our wet northwest June. Stay warm!!!!!

Well the eight inches didn't materialize, but we're about halfway there and it's still coming down. And it's cold! About 19 degrees (F) when I headed to work this morning.
