Taste of the Valley

Clearly this is not the elite taste of the valley ($6.50 wine isn't going to be amazing), but here you have it. I believe that all (or at least most) of these bottles were made right here in the Walla Walla Valley. With nearly 150 wineries in Walla Walla and the surrounding area, there is plenty of wine to be had. I, unfortunately for any of you interested, am not a wine drinker, so I can't fill you in on anything about these fine-looking decanters (which, for all I know, could be mostly cooking sherry and the like). I love how elegant they look, and how beautiful the labels can be.

I was not a wine drinker until recently. It does help you relax and makes you sleep better.

Though it has never made me sleep better, I enjoy a glass of red wine at a meal, but I probably don't drink more than 40 glasses a year! Serious studies have shown that a very reasonable intake of (good) red wine is actually pretty good for you, just like olive oil. And no, the study wasn't financed by French winemakers, it's a British medical team I think! :-)

Ooh, I like this photo! I don't drink wine either...could be because I've never been able to pronounce those french names! :-D
