The view East from the Bridge of the Gods. In front of us: Washington State. Behind us: Oregon. The towns in this area are fairly small - only a few thousand people. The drive from Walla Walla to Vancouver takes about four hours; this bridge is located a little over halfway there.

True! It was a GORGEOUS day, and in this area the temperature is nearly always perfect when the sky is like this, as opposed to the 100 degrees it usually is in Walla Walla when the sky looks like this in July!
